There are several companies that sponsor both males and females, yet it appears that a specific gender receives more sponsoring than another. There is good reasoning for such facts. Sponsors such as Nike and Adidas are very popular for sponsoring athletes. Nike endorses more males than females but this is not considered to be sexist, for they sponsor high ranked athletes who receive popularity. This allows the sponsored athlete to advertise Nike’s technology to a large audience. On account of Adidas they appear to feel the same, for they are not focused on simply degrading a specific gender, but making smart business actions in efforts of allowing their brand to thrive.
